Prattville High School - 2012-2016

My name is Tatum Northington Smith, and I am starting my first year at Isabella, but my 6th year in teaching! I am so blessed to be at Isabella High School this year. I will be teaching 7th and 9th grade Social Studies as well as teaching K-2 Physical Education. I was born and raised in Prattville, and then attended the University of Alabama, where I received my two Bachelors degrees.  I received my Masters in Education in 2014, and am honored I get to teach the wonderful children of Isabella.

I am married to my best friend, Coach Jes Smith. He teaches Health and coaches football at Prattville High School. We have been married almost four years, and enjoy going to Memphis Grizzlies Basketball games, watching any football on TV, and going to the beach. We live in Prattville and have a 4-legged baby named Bama! We adopted him in 2017 and he is our favorite :)

I am a huge ALABAMA fan, and go to all University events I can. I am the President of the Autauga County Alumni Chapter of the University of Alabama National Alulmni Association. I am also the Executive Director of Miss Tri County - a scholarship preliminary to Miss Alabama and Miss America. I hope to use some of these talents to bring some new events to IHS!

I am excited for the 2018-2019 School year and cannot wait to see what the future holds!
